This report reviews the evolution of our understanding of that relationship and discusses the research activities which have led to the development of vehicle test procedures to optirnise the protection afforded to a pedestrian in the event of a collision. The relevance of these test procedures to the Australian situation is discussed. | Report Number | CR166 | Publisher | Federal Office of Road Safety (FORS) | Publisher City | Canberra | Sponsor | Federal Office of Road Safety (FORS) | ISBN | 0642255008 | ISSN | 0810770X | Page Count | 47 | Notes | http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/safety/publications/1996/Ped_Lit_1.aspx |
