This treatment was selected for use at one approach leg of a hazardous intersection in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Speed measurements were taken over two-week periods before and after implementation of the treatment in July 2015, and again in 2016. Results of the speed measurements showed 85th percentile speed reductions of up to 2.0 km/h. These speed reductions were greatest both 50m before and 50m after the intersection in the travelled direction of the transverse line markings. | Conference Name | Australasian Road Safety Conference | Conference Abbreviation | ARSC | Conference Location | Perth, Western Australia | Conference Date | 10-12 October 2017 | Notes | Extended abstract available on ACRS website
