Almost half of the deaths among 15-24 year old males occur on our roads. Because of the concentration of road accident fatalities among the young the years of life lost from road traffic accidents is even more impressive when compared with diseases such as heart disease and cancer which occur mostly in the latter part of the normal life span. | Publisher | Road Accident Research Unit | Publisher City | Adelaide | Conference Name | Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Seminar | Conference Location | Adelaide, Australia | Conference Date | June, 1987 | Page Count | 14 | Notes | available from CASR library on request |
