Abstract	This was a very large conference with over 500 registrants from 50 countries attending a total of about 80 sessions at which around 240 papers were presented. The main thane of the conference was: "Safety - A Universal Concern and a Responsibility for All". Over the three days of the conference a total of 10 sub-themes were discussed in plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and poster sessions.
