Abstract	At the second RUTAC meeting I expressed my concern that the proposed changes in heavy vehicle speed limits were not being considered by this Committee. After some discussion, I volunteered to prepare a short paper criticising the Federal Office of Road Safety paper entitled "Heavy Vehicle Speed Limits: the case for removing the speed limit differential on rural roads" prepared by Heacock and Budd.
