Welcome to the CASR Road Safety Library
The Library at the Centre for Automotive Safety Research was set up to provide support for the research
work of the Centre by developing an extensive collection of information on road accidents,
injury and prevention, and by locating and acquiring relevant information as quickly
as possible and organising it so that it can be readily retrieved when needed again.
The Library contains one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of information on road safety, world wide.
The main subject areas are: alcohol involvement in road accidents, head and brain injury,
spinal injury, neck injury (particularly whiplash), biomechanics of injury,
vehicle occupant protection, injury prevention, road accident statistics and epidemiology,
